Zvi Schreiber
Zvi Schreiber, ( /ˈtsviːʃraɪbɜr/ tsvee shrybur, born 9 June 1969) is a British-Israeli serial entrepreneur, executive and author. He has founded high tech start-up companies including G.ho.st which at the time was considered the first and only high tech start-up with a joint Palestinian-Israeli team.[1][2][3] He is currently the CEO of Lightech[4] and lives in Jerusalem, Israel. Schreiber is author of Fizz.[5]

Schreiber has founded the following companies:
- IsraTec Limited
- Tradeum Inc, acquired by VerticalNet[6]
- Unicorn Inc, acquired by IBM[7]
- Ghost Inc[8] (which traded as G.ho.st and has now closed operations).
Executive positions
As of 2011, Schreiber is CEO of Lightech Electronic Industries Ltd,[9] based in Israel, where he has also served as a director since 1996. His father, David Schreiber, an experienced businessman and investor,[10] chairs the board. Lightech is currently being acquired by GE Lighting.[11]
Other Activities and Achievements
Schreiber has spoken at software industry events[12][13][14] and at some economic conferences[15] and is a co-inventor of several patents and patent applications.[16]
Books
Schreiber is the author of two books:
- Bad hair day, a small picture book with his own photography[17]
- Fizz: Nothing is as it seems which tells the story of the history of physics through a novel about a troubled young girl who time travels to meet Galileo, Newton, Einstein and others,[18][19] in the genre of Sophie's World.
Education
Schreiber has a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London and an MSc in Theoretical Physics (Quantum Fields) from Imperial College London.[20]
